Acne can occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders, and upper arms. Although most teenagers get some form of acne, adults in their 20's, 30's, 40's, and even older can develop acne. Acne can be disfiguring, upsetting and can cause long term self esteem problems to individuals at any age.

From the light cases to the severe, there is no reason for anyone to suffer from acne with the multitude of methods available. If a patient is uncertain about what type of acne they have or what causes it, they should consult a skin specialist.
